INFORMATION
To ensure proper tire inflation pressures, it is recommended to check/inflate tires when they are cold. The tires of a vehicle are often
thought of as being cold prior to the vehicle being driven. However, ambient temperature can have an effect on tire pressure. For every 10
?F drop in ambient temperature, the tire pressure can decrease by 1 psi. During the fall and winter months, there can be significant
differences between the outside temperature and the temperature within the workshop. Inflating tires within a heated environment can
result in a pressure difference of up to 3 psi when the vehicle is placed outside. Therefore, it is recommended to check/inflate tires prior to
the vehicle being driven or placed in the workshop.
