How To Transform Your Cargo Van Into Mobile Office?

The CLA's stability, which is aided by its wide stance, means it's well equipped to turn in and hold a corner. The mild-mannered 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder means you won't confuse the CLA 250 with a land rocket any time soon, but it at least becomes livelier when switched to Sport mode via a small toggle switch on the center console. GLC300, equipped with a 255-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission, with rear- or optional all-wheel drive. The new car no longer hits the first gen's sub-$30,000 price tag - now it slots above the $32,500 A-Class, which is powered by a 188-horsepower engine versus this CLA's 221-hp mill. It’s great to find a wall liner that meets all the above requirements, but it’s no use to you if it doesn't fit your van. Many companies offer a van history data check and we’d recommend using one, even if a used car seller says this has already been carried out. So far so good, had Konis on the rear for the last couple of years but the side to side rocking, especially pulling in and out of driveways was getting too much. Due tothe successful launch of Mercedes Benz R-Class at the New York International Auto Show last March, the new-generation R-Class might as well come to India.

Some are useful and well executed, like the route-based adaptive cruise control that adjusts speed to get you smoothly through curves, toll booths, and exit roads, and the Active Lane Change assist that smoothly transitions the car over to the next lane when summoned. The CLA is also sleeker but less voluminous than the A-Class, with a swept back roofline that cuts rear headroom, a form-over-function tradeoff that inspired Mercedes to optimistically call the four-door a "coupe." But there are small-but-special signifiers all around: details like the pillarless doors and more expansive exterior proportions hint at its focus on style over strict functionality, at least compared to the A-Class. Less successful: the lane keeping assist system, which responds to perceived drifting by activating the brakes on one side and pulling the car back into a lane. In the Handling or Moving-Base Driving Simulator one floor up, the focus is on the topic of safety and self-assurance. Autobahn driving reveals a comfortable, quiet cabin and a long list of driver safety and convenience systems. And for good reason: For a few bucks more than the C-Class, you get more space, more headroom and the same quality interior, top-notch amenities, modern multimedia system and loads of extra-cost safety equipment.

We pay attention to details that very few car shoppers ever notice, and we are so jaded by the tsunami of high-tech features appearing each week in our driveways that we often forget that a buyer new to the market after a few years will be amazed (or confused)… The chassis has become more refined and capable, and yes, the upcoming AMG version will undoubtedly be a more compelling offer for drivers who just wanna go fast. The system was inadvertently triggered more than once during my drive; though it could theoretically save the life of someone who falls asleep at the wheel (as could the standard Attention Assist system, which monitors driver fatigue), I found it annoying enough that I eventually dug through the vehicle settings menu and disabled it. Switching the drive mode into one of the sportier settings (Sport and Sport Plus are available) doesn’t seem to help much with the responsiveness, but it does change the behavior of the transmission to keep it in a lower gear.

Regardless, the transmission shifts smoothly and unobtrusively, while paddle shift intervention offers a reasonably brief interval between finger tap and cog swap. I’m not sure if it’s the transmission tuning or actual engine turbo lag, but there’s a noticeable hesitation between the actions of your right foot and the response in terms of vehicle acceleration. Selain itu teknologi sedan mewah juga diterapkan pada van ini seperti Acceleration Skid Control (ASC), Electrionic Brake System (EBS) dan Adaptive Electronic Stability Program (Adaptive ESP). It’s smooth and punchy, but suffers from a bit of lag on initial acceleration. Backseat passengers are a bit more cramped, but it’s comparable to competitors like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio or Jaguar F-Pace. While it is a bit tight inside due to it being a compact crossover SUV, it’s still a very comfortable cabin with highly adjustable seats, decent legroom for front-seat passengers and plenty of headroom. Plenty of body roll and sway, but a decent loping ride and active ESP to counteract crosswinds neatly. The only issue I have with the GLC300’s driving dynamics is the ride quality, which is surprisingly stiff.

It’s an astonishingly serene driving experience for a compact crossover, evidently the beneficiary of trickle-down design and technology from its bigger SUV brothers in the Mercedes-Benz showroom. Driving an imported car inspires the rush other cars cannot deliver. When the new car arrives in the fall, there will be a load of other gas and diesel engines to go with it. It's available as a hollowed-out cargo van with a short or long wheelbase as well as a passenger van with flexible seating that will hold up to eight people. 2012 Ram Cargo Van interior.
