The Drive Kit Plus, which enables the smartphone to be connected to the vehicle, was developed by Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH. In one of its SL models, Mercedes-Benz will be demonstrating the Drive Kit Plus, a system which in combination with a smartphone and a special app enables the seamless integration of the smartphone into the vehicle’s infotainment architecture. The navigation system of COMAND Online also has added functions. The new Sprinter van will also receive the MBUX infotainment center, which is able to carry out language functions such as warming up the cabin after hearing the command, “Mercedes-Benz, I’m cold.” Safety features such as lane-keeping assist, blind-spot detection with rear-cross traffic alert, and intelligent high beams are also available on the new Sprinter.
