Mercedes-Benz Area: Daimler Goes Back To Basics - Unveils New Brand Design For Mercedes-Benz

Taking its cues from the 500 it has a body colour painted dashboard available in five colours (red, white, black and two shades of grey). Or black. Rarely are they brightly coloured, at least from the factory. Whereas the original tuning company was best known for building mostly one-dimensional sedans (fast in a straight line, clumsy and unbalanced in corners), the 21st Century AMG, now officially the hyper-performance division of Mercedes-Benz, has of late been cranking out full-bodied supercars with all rough edges smoothed away (i.e., the CLK63 Black Series, the SL63 AMG). That’s just a little more power than the outgoing model, but this engine is now paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Should you need more grunt or want the optional 4-wheel-drive (4WD) system, a turbodiesel 3.0-liter V6 is available to all Sprinter variations and comes standard aboard those with 4WD. The V6 is matched with a 5-speed automatic transmission to put out 188 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque.

Its manually selectable all-wheel drive, in turn, predestines the new Sprinter for winter camping in snowy regions as well as for off-road adventure camping. If you imagine that the current S class will feel large and lumbering to drive, you're in for either a rude shock or a pleasant surprise-depending on your point of view. The current generation S class was introduced in 2005-in India in 2006-and preceded the svelte W220, which, in appearance, was the epitome of understated elegance. But such asuggestion is unequivocally banished into the dusty pages of the history books by the current models. The picture shows two Mercedes-Benz G-Class models that Hofele has tricked-out although at this stage we can’t comment on what exact visual changes have been made to the SUVs. Every 4 years or so, companies completely overhaul their model lines and newer generation models usually have more luxuries, more powerful engines, better fuel efficiency, and a completely different look. To put it simply, if you are trading a used Honda for a new Honda at a Honda dealership, you may get more for your trade-in; especially if you bought your Honda at that specific dealership.

If you are buying a new car now, try and think ahead to the time you will be trading it in. The important thing to remember here is that you can substitute Honda for any other manufacturer and that anytime your trade-in was built by the same company as the new car you wish to buy, you have a better chance of seeing your trade-in value increase. If your car is from the previous generation, your trade-in value suffers. Anytime you trade-in a previous generation model, or a model that no longer exists, your trade-in value will fall. If you trade-in is more than 6 years old (give or take a year depending on the model), than this list becomes less relevant. If you're looking for a way to enhance your Mercedes GL, tuning firm Carlsson today has unveiled the Design RS-Kit for the model, aimed at giving the SUV a sporty, more powerful appearance.

Design creates something out of the ordinary and makes a major contribution to shaping the brand image. At the recent launch of the S sooL, Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, MD & CEO, Mercedes Benz India, pointed out that this particular model is the most expensive car ever made in India, as it's being carefully assembled at their new state-of-the-art facility in Pune - unlike its Bavarian compatriot, which comes in fully assembled as a CBU. On the contrary, if you'd like some R&R, simply recline your seat, and pull out a bottle of your favourite beverage from the fridge in the back - accessed from in between the rear seats. Why two seats for an early race car? The design, on the whole, has just the right combination of curves and creases-the end result is a car hat looks a dominant force going down the road, which of course, is the point.
