Q By Aston Martin Does What It Does Best With Two Custom DB11s

Aston rows the boat ashore... Hallelujah!

With the recent reveal of the new DBS Superleggera (and the new Vantage), it'd be all too easy to forget about the DB11 that launched Aston Martin's new lineup just two years ago. But the company's Q division is here to show us that the DB11 isn't just still relevant, but open to a world of possibilities. Aston's in-house personalization department has revealed two custom takes on the grand tourer. One of them is a strict one-off (but is available for sale), while the other is being offered in a limited series.

First up is the Henley Royal Regatta edition. Following the coupe that the automaker showcased at the rowing event last year, this DB11 Volante is done up in white with a red interior and black trim. The White Stone bodywork is offset by a black soft top, gloss-black forged alloys, dark anodized brake calipers, smoked tail lights, dark exhaust tips and hood vent mesh, and carbon-fiber accents. There's more carbon inside to complement the Red Oxide Caithness leather, hand-painted blue accents, and stainless steel crossed-oars motif. They'll only be the one example made, and it's being offered for £199,995. If you miss out on that one, Q by Aston Martin will also be offering 20 examples of another.

Called the DB11 Classic Driver edition, it stems from a collaboration between the classic-car website's founder Alexander Knapp Voith, who also collects Astons and was previously the company's dealer in Hamburg. The Classic Driver edition is based on the V8-powered model and will be offered in both coupe and Volante convertible forms. It's done up in a green-twist grey pearl finish, with satin green-tinted carbon-fiber trim. The interior is similarly done up in Eifel Green Caithness leather (presumably named for the woods around the Nurburgring, not for the Parisian tower) with the Classic Driver logo stitched in Parliament Green into the headrests. Act fast enough and you could pick one up for $274,010.
