SITUATION

Some owners may experience rattles from the rear hatch when driving over rough surfaces.

These rattles can be caused by the fit of the striker in the rotary latch or by play in the stop buffers.

CORRECTION

[NEW]Several improvements have been made to the latching system and stop buffers to eliminate play that may cause rattles. These improvements

were phased into production from 2/03 through 11/03.

part has an approximately 5.5 mm diameter hole.
